Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
My sons xbox 360 will not sense that any controller is hooked into it so he can play. The wireless remote control picks up but if you plug in any of the regular remotes it does not pick them up please tell me how I can fix this problem.
Are you syncing them up? To do this press the small white button on top of the controller at the same time you press the small circle button on the front of the console.

Sometimes the xbox has a syncing problem, then controller when turned on turns on the console, so it is obv working but dosnt connect after that, i had this problem and what i did was as followed, 1. turn the console on dont use the controller hold the sync button on the Console for 30 seconds, after this turn off the console and remore the power plug from the console and your mains, now wait about 5 miutes, then plug it up, first click the xbox sync button, and hold the remotes sync, this should then work. if not i suggest contacting microsoft, http://www.xbox.com/support

Tips for a great answer:

The Xbox 360 utilizes two
types of controllers: wired and wireless. Like most operations on a
video game console, configuring a controller requires little effort. You
can either plug the controller into a port on the Xbox 360, or sync a
wireless controller using the console's built-in controls.
