I own a Casio Ex-S10 digital cam. The clear plastic over the LCD cracked. The LCD is still good, Im trying to find out where I can purchase the plastic peace or the back part of the casing.

i f i remember correctly, this camera has input/output terminals. both for USB/AV port and a USB: high speed USB.

you might have pushed the lens into the barrel. small lens barrel has 3 metal pins that ride inside the larger lens barrel as it twists. Pushing it sometimes cracks the plastic holding these 3 pins in. one way to fix it is to carefully disassemble the entire lens barrel. be careful...sometimes a part just snaps, or is already snapped. The easiest way would be to replace the lens assembly with a good one you can get from another camera like this. There are no spare parts for cams like this so you can try to get another cam that has a different damage other than the lens barrel.

It don't work shutter. You need in repair lens unit.

take off the back you are going to need a soldiering iron. once the back is off gently lift the lcd out of the holder. fallow the ribbon cable to the plastic hold down. with a very small flat head screw driver. pop up the tab. take off the front case cover on the bottom of the main board you will see the lcd red and black wire de-solider them remember how the go. fallow these steps on the other camera tfering the good lcd to the other unit. and reverse the steps. if you fell this is something you do not want to attack I will replace your lcd with you other units lcd for. 30.00 goto digitalcamrepair.com for more help.

It's worth a try, they fixed my EX-S770 after I dropped it on the lens and it wouldn't open/close at all.

probably not worth it. I bought a new camera when my LCD cracked.
