Have another read of the instructions. Have you put longer screws in to holes that required only shorter ones, and now the ones you have left don't fit?
Your best bet here would be to call LG customer service--if a stand is available they will know which can be used---be sure to if you do not have them get the hardware info for the stand as well.
There are some generic ones on the internet but an original one would be best.
SOME TV'S HAVE A PANEL TO ACCESS THE A/V CABLES...I.E. HDMI,S-VIDEO,COMPONENT,ECT. IF YOURS IS THE CASE LOOK WHEN YOU REMOVE THE PANEL AND SEE IF THERE ARE ANY COVERS THAT NEED TO BE REMOVED SO YOUR STAND CAN SLIDE INTO PLACE.
If you lay the TV down on something soft but firm (towel on the floor or counter) put the screen face down on the back you should see 4 screw holes with the an (S) next to them. They are located at the center near the bottom. If you remove these screws the stand should then slide out of the bottom of the TV. Good Luck
