Question about Kenmore 63952 Electric Dryer
We have a Kenmore 63956 Dryer. When I press the Start Button the dryer comes on (and is tumbling) however, when I release my finger it shuts off!
I've checked to see if the dryer door is closed properly and tightly .. it appears it is. The sensor in the door is working.
Pull end caps off just grab at top of plastic and pull towards you remove the 2 screws underneath lift console up and roll back next to timer is a small control bd to right of that are 2 relays 1 with red wires for element and 1 with blue wires for motor first try switching the relays they are identical and will work for either 1 ..try if works replace relay ..if still not working suspect control bd

I have a similar problem with my Kenmore P/N # 3391522. I start the unit and about 5 seconds after it shuts off. I can keep pressing the button each time it stops but after 4 times the dryer will not come back on for a few minutes. I have taken the motor out and started checking for continuity on wire to make sure none were broken. Can someone please help?
