Yes but you will have to buy a signal booster (also know as a range extender) you can find them at places like walmart and other stores that sell computer wireless modems.

The actual distance d varies directly as the distance s on a map. If 2 cm on a certain map represents 15 km find the actual distance represented by a distance of 70 cm on the map.

70 cm is 35 times larger than 2 cm so it represents a distance 35 times larger than 15 km, or 525 km.

Sorry I can't give you the exact keystroke sequence to calculate it as you didn't specify the make and model of your calculator.

How do i the camera to take smaller pictures and if it is by using the zoom do I zoom in or out.. Thanks

Hi sportingnut4 ,

Thanks for the question ,

  1. If you mean by smaller pictures i.e. small in area you have to capture the images keeping the distance in perspective.
  2. If the distance between the image and camera is more , you would find the object being captures is small and if the distance is less , you would find that the object that has been captured is bigger.
  3. If you want to capture an object which is far away you can use the Zoom In function which would zoom your camera's lens in the object.
  4. If you have already Zoomed in , then to decrease the zoom i.e. to go away from the object as if you are increasing the distance between the object and the camera , you should Zoom out.
  5. Remember , Zoom out usually only works when you have already used the Zoom in function of the camera.
Hope this helps.

How do I increase the field of view on a zeiss OpMi-1?

Field of view and working distance vs magnification is a law of physics. Using the lowest power gives you the widest field of view and greatest working distance but the trade of is that you loose magnification. Conversely as you increase magnification you decrease working distance and you loose field of view diameter.
The optics of your microscope are limited to .4x to 2.5x magnification. Your working distance is limited to 200 - 400mm depending on the magnification you are using.
I am not aware of any interchangeable lenses for this scope.

This may not be an actual problem. I've observed after performing a successful Audyssey calibration that a few things seem odd. My large (Paradigm Monitor 11) front speakers are now considered 'small,'...

If it sounds normal, then yes leave them as they are.

But there may need to be an exception made.

The distances are set the way they are for the proper advance or delay in milliseconds of the sound arrival at the listening position.
The system calibrated your speaker settings based on how each channel's frequency responses measured at the listening position. Room acoustics and channel positioning greatly affects this. The settings it made in the system can be a best case scenario compromise that MAY not be good for your surround speakers as it can be delivering signal to them that they were not designed to handle; in which case it is best to increase the crossover value of those speakers.

Spilt milk

No even if you did replace those few dios who to say that it will still work. It will cost you more money trying to fix this motherboard while you can replace it one time, and be finished with it. I would contact HP and order a replacement motherboard.

Not enough IR range to use remote

Get yourself a very thin and small screwdriver. The type that comes in the eyeglass repair kits. Remove the cloth/plastic grill from the front of the sound bar. Locate the IR sensor in the center of the bar. Pry the dark red filter off the IR sensor and leave it off.

Problem solved, greatly increases range. I have read that there is a clear replacement cover you can buy but whats the point?
