If its under warranty company will provide you and also fit it for you. you will have to pay only for the part no service charge will be taken till the warranty period ends. you just have give the perfect part number to the company thats it.if you does not have any warranty a local appliance repair center could do it for you if he is not reparing that particular thing he would definately guide you for the proper reparing person of this product nearest to you in your area as they all are some how linked to each other .
rate the solution as "FIXYA"if it saved your time and helped you to solve yor problem. thanks in advance. wish u success.bye.
feel free for further assistance.

After first removing the gasket on my Model #: K29862 Oval Pressure cooker I don;t know what the correct placement of the gasket is. Does the notched side go under the lip of the lid or where I can see it...

The notched side would be where you can see it after the gasket is placed in the lid. The notches allow pressure to more effectively act on the other side of the gasket providing a secure seal.

Can I put the lid of my slow cooker in the oven? I'm cooking conventionally using just the crock. Val

I wouldn't recommend it as the lid has a plastic handle which will melt. The covers
themselves are made of pyrex glass generally and would stand the heat, It is just
a concern as to what material is attached to them as far as knobs and trim ring.
Hope this helps.

I am looking for a rival crock pot lid @3755

Try this site. They have quite a few replacement parts/lids. They most likely have a universal lid you could use and none of them seem too expensive.

My 7qt slow cooker glass cover doesn't have a small hole for the steam to escape, so while it's cooking it is continually lifting the cover spitting out water and dripping over the whole counter, is that...

The slow cooker works by heating the food up to around 85 degrees Celcius and should not boil. If you have it hot enough to boil place a tooth pick under the glass edge. That will let the steam out.

Hello, I have a home tek slow cooker, I have just cooked the mince in it, but would like to put the mash on top and heat through in oven to make it a cottage pie. It is ceramic with a glass lid.

Ceramic dishes are fine in an oven so long as they aren't cooled down too rapidly when taken out, (so don't put it in water when very hot). You won't be using the lid because you will be browning the mash.
Hope that helps and bon appetit

I need a replacement lid for rival crock pot scvs601, sc43 slow cooker. Any suggestions?

You can order new lid w/ hinge for $15 from manufacturer (http://www.crock-pot.com/customerservice.aspx) or I have been told they'll send it for free if you contact them (https://secure.crock-pot.com/contactus.aspx) and say the hinge broke. Might depend how old your unit is.

I have a Monier crock pot which is approx. 30 years old and still working well but the plastic lid has a crack in it. Is it possible to obtain a new lid

Contact Monier, they may have a replacement.
If not take the plastic lid with you and go shopping, look for glass lids on pots and pans that matches the shape of your plastic lid.

Where can I get a copy of a Breville Express Cooker (EXC15) manual? I had a cooker given to me but alas no "how to use" instructions.

Hi I have the same model - I absolutely love it. The only problem is that the seal is broken and because Breville no longer supply parts I'm using it more as a slow cooker!
It's pretty simple to use:
The basics:
1. Pull the handles apart (note you must have the 'pressure lock - the only sliding knob on the lid) in the 'unlocked position'.
2. Set the temperature on Max (only until the meat, onions etc are brown, then turn down to 1 or 2- just enough to keep the orange button 'popped' on the top of the machine
3. turn the timer (bottom dial on the front of the cooker) to an hour (you can always turn the dial more if needed, but not reduce time) by the time you've browned meat & chopped veges, etc that will be about 10-15 gone. I've never had it pressure 'cooking for more than an hour for anything'
3. re timing - casserole takes about 40 min from when the orange button on top 'pops' up (ie. steam build up enough pressure to cook quickly)
4. don't over fill - there's a little cast iron bump about an inch from the 'top' inside the cooker - that's about the max.
5. if you're cooking meat dishes have the dial on the top 'pressure release dial' on 3 - lighter dishes (e.g. soups) have on 1 or two.
6. until you get use to it keep an eye on the orange button - you get to know what temp to put it on by how much steam is released - it it's hissing away, turn the temperature down.
7. makes great casseroles, rissotto, soups (even with dried beans, only about 40 min)
if you ever find a supplier for seals, post an answer!
