Question about Sony KDS-60A2000 60" HDTV
Hello and thank you for your help. we have a two year old model that will not come on. it looks like the lamp comes on for a second and then the LED light blinks four times repeatedly. i understand that it is likely the fan or the power supply to the fan, however, we don't have a Sony service provider and i am not remotely mechanically inclined. is this fatal or can we be saved??
It can be saved, but you need to determine the fan that is bad. Looking at the set from the rear, on the left side you will see a series of baffles. Shine a light in there and you will see a fan. Have someone turn on the power and watch this fan. If it doesn't turn, there is your culprit. This is the most likely fan to fail. Please be sure to rate this solution. Thanks!
