Question about InFocus X1 Multimedia Projector
Just replaced lamp and unable to reset lamp clock. Followed instructions in manual and it still wont reset. The projector sounds like it is trying to "boot" up but it just shuts down after about 30 secs giving me the blinking red lights again. Same (I think) scenario. Lamp ran completely out (but didn't explode this time, yay!), but now I replaced it and when I power on all I get is a green light for a few seconds and then blinking red. There were no errors, the counter ran down cleanly (lots of warnings on screen). I ordered replacement, installed replacement, no lamp... The volume-keys thing didn't work for me.
Chances are its the projector itself that you are having an issue with, one more thing that you can do is for you to clean the filters, try cleaning the filters and try reinstalling the lamp, then power it back on, if you are getting the same thing still, have the projector service or if within warranty have it replaced. best i got. Thanks for using Fixya!
