I GOT A NEW HOOVER VACUUM US140-900 M120 & NO SCREWS WERE IN THE BOX, PLEASE SEND, BOUGHT FROM AMAZON.COM THEY CAN'T SEND THE SCREWS & SAID TO CONTACT YOU

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The best place to get the factory screws is from the Hoover Factory and I will supply you with the website and the Hoover factory phone # to the cust serv and they will direct you to the parts dept, from there you need to furnish the Hoover Model # and maybe the serial 3 and the cust rec & the dop (date of purchase) because Hoover has a one year factory warranty. If for some reason Hoover cannot supply you with the screws that you needs I would as a last resort return the vacuum to the Amazon.com for a refund. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
