HAVE A COLEMAN MODEL DRHSO601CB --- THE UNIT WILL RUN FINE FOR SEVERAL HOURS WITH GOOD COOLING AND THEN PERIODICALLY THE TROUBLE LIGHT WILL COME ON THE THERMOSTAT AND THE UNIT HAS SHUT DOWN. TO RESTART - YOU MOVE THE THERMOSTAT TO OFF WAIT 5 MINUTES OR SO AND PUT IT BACK ON COOL -- IT WILL RESTART ALMOST EVERY TIME AND RUN FOR SEVERAL HOURS. IN THE PAST IN THE PAST I REPLACED THE DEFROST CONTROL BOARD BUT WHEN I DID THAT THIS TIME IT STILL SHUTS DOWN - WHAT OTHER PROBLEMS ARE YOU AWARE OF ON THIS UNIT?

You may have a low pressure or high pressure switch tripping out the board as well. You might try cleaning both the indoor (evaporator) coil and the outdoor (condensing) coil. Be sure to turn off the power source before servicing this.

My coleman powermate pro 6750 generator only puts out like half power, after 30 minutes it loads up and runs fine. what causes this?

It would be surprising to me if the engine was running at proper speed while it is not putting out full power. I am not familiar with your particular model so my answers are coming from knowledge of generators in general. If it is running at proper speed then it would have to be a regulator problem. This is assuming that it isn't trying to run in an overload condition and that you are letting it run a little before you put a load on it.

Do I need a outside cooling unit for a Coleman 7900 Presidential lll gas heat and cooling unit

Yeah, youd have to look at the model on the Indoor coil box, furnace will be setting on top of it. Youll need the model off that coil box to get the correct tonnage of the outdoor condensing unit, you can go 1/2 ton smaller on outdoor for greater efficiency.

Periodically won't turn on but after sitting off for several hours, it will eventually turn on

First a TV repairman needs to diagnose the problem. There is so many issues with DLP TVS.An aging bulb,a wire short,or a circuit board issue could be causing the overheating in the unit then its cooling down allowing it to turn back on.The most typical issue is an aging lamp or bulb.An easy fix but depending on the unit could be costly call Mitsubishi get the bulb replacement part # for your TV model then go online and find it for a discounted price.

Coleman mach fan runs fine but A/C hums intermittently like it wants to start but won't. I'm running it with a Honda 2000 generator. Generator ran out of gas, when I restarted the generator the A/C would...

The issue with the generator that gets low and high when it start running out of gas that effect the A/C and result of high voltage getting to the unit and burn the capacitors and it should by saved by the fuse make sure that the gen not run out of gas if you have the A/C on and that the fuse is the correct one for the A/C and again check the air and see you may got a bad capacitor.
....let me know if that work for you and please do not forget to rate my service so I am able to continue providing same...god bless

Have a coleman 5640 heating/cooling unit and the motor won't run unless just a tiny amount of pressure added?? Any suggestions?

Yes, to change from heat to cool is done by reversing the power plug that is close to the housing. Matching the blue on the plug(as I recall) makes it cool. The red to blue makes it a heater. If it is currently heating, the unit works fine, it just needs the polarity reversed.
Good luck,
Glenn
