I have a dell all-in-one printer 926. I can print pictures just fine on it but when I try to print on regular paper it feeds the paper half way, prints on the bottom of it then says paper jam. There is no obvious paper jam, and I have shook it, used a whole can of canned air in all the area's and it still wont print on regular paper. It used to a while ago, then it just magically stopped. Please help!

Good old fuser wrap, what a pain. What type of paper are you printing on. Often with full page coverage printing I find that you need to user a heavier bond color printing paper to achieve any sort of good quality and reliability in feeding.
Hi I live in the mid west - during our significantly humid days my 926 wouldn't pull in any paper. I tried a lot of home grown techniques but none worked. I finally raised the air temp in my office which tended to dry out the paper and that worked. Of course your problem could be a broken gear or a worn out feed tire - also something stuck in the printer.
Hi, Remove the jammed
paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for
tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers
and make sure they are dry. Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and
replug and try a test print. Also make sure that you have waited long enough
for the printer to heat up before giving a print job. Finally, it could be an issue with the paper
sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for
Could have a corrupt driver. Disconnect
the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do
both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer
to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
just check to see if there is any obstructions were the paper is going through, unplug printer cables, press power button for 20 seconds without any cables connected, it will refresh printer memory, connect cables back, try photocopy, if nogo, printer fualty
