You must open the dvd the player then you can remove the dvd from inside easily......after that try connecting to power supply & switching on it ... check whether the door is opening or not ....
if not opening then check is there any obstacles near by the door way ... try cleaning it ...
after that try pushing the door with the screw driver after you press eject button while powered on ...
the door will surely come out ...

Try unpluging your set for a while, try again.
If the disc still doesn't come out you may have to take the set apart to get the dvd out, you will also most likely have to take the set to a repair man after that if it still doesn't function.

If you have warranty leave the dvd in and contact your dealer for repairs / service.

No picture after hooking up DTV box, Heart Beat sound

Uninstall the DTV Box and scart leads completley. If the box id new take it back to the store and ask them to connect it to one of their TVs or u connect to another TV in your House. The retailer may swap it if faulty. Other than that, Tap the DTV Box 3 or 4 times on the top, blow out all the connections or use a vacuum cleaner this will clear dust and re connect and re install.

I want to hook a system

you will only be able to get digital surround( dolby digital ) from your dvd player( by the coax or optical digital connections ) , the rest will only be in virtual surround

from the dtv box plug the yellow video jack(RCA) into the vcr video input , then plug the audio jack or jacks into the audio input on the vcr. from the vcr hook the audio out to the audio in on the reciever( tv/vcr/sat... input ) , then also connect RF out from the VCR to RF in on the TV .
for the dvd player hook the "s-video out" to the "s-video in" on the tv , then the audio L and R on same s-video input , then send the audio out connection on tv to L and R input on reciever dvd L and R input , then you will need to connect the optical from the dvd player to the reciever or coax connections for the dolby digital on the reciever to work
