I unpluggged the tv and let it rest for a while and when I turned it back on everything was fine, we have had a lot of thunder and lightening lately so maybe that had something to do with it ?? Hopefully it will be ok if not i am sure you will be hearing form me again. Thanks

Can't open the cover of Foxtel remote to change batteries

It either has snaps in the middle all the way around or screws and snaps---most of them can be pryed loose in the middle working around the edge of the remote.

A good idea would be to GOOGLE the model number for a owner "manual".

Solution to think square by pressman and crimes games 17 pieces fit together to make a square it's killing my brain Trying to work this out can you help??? Desperate for sleep, Erica :)

All thethe pieces go in atthe a 30 degreemin angle.

Triangles go around outside with longest sides going against the outer edge, shortest sides pointing counter clockwise, and 2nd longest sides facing the middle. Big triangle points toward little triangle.

5 little squares go in the middle to make a cross. Turn it 30 degrees so straight sides of crossthe are parallel with inner edges of the triangles around the outside.

The big odd pieces go between triangles and cross.

Black screen

I have a Sharp Tv that had the same problem with a large brownish or black square right in the middle of the screen. It only left about an inch around the edges that you
could see the picture moving in behind the big black block or square.I have DISH sat-elite and the book recomending that I check and see if the "caption settings" were on
or off. They were on. I turned the caption settings off and the large square diappeared.

Black square in middle of screen about 25in X 25 in

If a black square appears on the screen and you can see the picture around the edges, it means that the closed captions are on and set to "TEXT". Go into the TV's menu, navigate to the closed captions page and set the captions to OFF.

Black square in the middle of the picture

You have the set configured to display "text 1 or Text 2" in the closed captioning menu. You will need to turn closed captioning off to get rid of this box.
