If you could tell me what make and model of radio this is, I may be able to help you. Different radios have different solutions to there problems. What ever you do, do not force the disc out. It usually causes more damage than you started with.

PyroPCMan's solution is definately worth trying first. Just make sure you don't let the new disc get pulled in to the cd player. You don't want 2 disc's stuck in it. Some cd players have switches activated by a lever that gets moved when a disc is going into and out of a cd player. You only want to move those levers enogh to activate the switch. If your radio has this type of sensor, it could work nicely. And if it does work for you, be sure to give PyroPCMan the credit for it.

I will wait to find out what the make and model is of this cd player.

Try inserting another disc without actually inserting it. What I mean is try to fake out the player by inserting another disc, let it start to grab and pull it out before it gets sucked in. This will hopefully trick it into thinkig there is a disc in it so the no disc error goes away. Then try ejecting as normal.

Good Luck

hope this helps

This works for me on my windows 8 lenovo pc. The problem is not necessarily related to the pc brand but could be a problem with the operating system. (Windows vista, 7, 8, etc)
"Hold the off button and the eject button down for about 5 to 10 seconds together. Then release both. Then wait a few minutes and turn the computer on again. The dvd/cd tray should open on reboot. "

How do I reset the computer on a 2005 ford escape

For a soft-reset, just disconnected the cable baterry few minutes, this deleted fault codes stored, then reconnected; if some check light come on again, will need scanning the computer to know exactly what code number is there.

Hope this helos.

Cd in macbook wont ejec

This can be a problem. First try rebooting the machine, and holding the eject button when you hear the startup tone. Hopefully, that will force-eject it.
If that doesn't work, you'll need to get creative. Get a playing card or something similar, and put some rolled-over tape on one side close to the edge, so there's a sticky side out. Turn the computer off, and try to get the playing card into the CD drive, with the tape making contact with the stuck CD. Reboot, holding the eject button when you hear the eject button again, and pulling the card out. Hopefully, the CD will come out with the card. If it doesn't work, just keep trying, and you'll get it out eventually.
Generally what causes this is keeping CDs in the computer for an extended period of time, especially while the computer is powered off. Make sure you remove all CDs before moving or turning off your computer.

CDs are jammed. will not eject or play. i have a bose front loader 6 cd changer. this unit came in a infinity 2003. Someone told it happens when the batery is diconnected while cd's are in. How can I...

I can help you with this problem. All you need to do is to force eject the trey which is hilding the cd's. This will cause no damage, the hole is made for this purpose.

First you need to locate a small hole near the eject button.
Now you need to push a pin into the hole untill you feel resistance.
While holding the pin securely gently pull out the trey.
You should be able to recover your cd now and your player should work perfectly again. Please rate this.

Best regards

Beeps 2 times & a warbling noise when trying to boot up - unplugging power lead & pressing ON/Off button & reconnecting power lead starts up OK - but it can be OK for several days & then repeats the p

The Cause of Problem:

The Power Buttons electrical circle sometimes just braked it by one of sensors and the result is the 2 beeps and Power Supply is in protected mode error.

The whole computer is turn off but the power button is turn on and this is the nub of the matter. Because if you want turn on the computer you can't because already turn on but just the Power button and you can't do anything.

The solution:
You need just change the Power Supply and don't do anything just the power cable put into the Power Supply after turn off computer.
Finaly change back the Power Supply.

Cd wont eject

You are absolutely right about bose! And GM Delco as well. Try this. I've had 50/50 results. Need 2 peole. One at the nattery, the other at the cd player. Turn the key on, radio will power up. with the radi powered up,disconnect the negative battery cable from veicle. Wait a few minutes. Now this step might be cumbersome. While holding stereo in your hand, push the eject button and HOLD while the other person re-connects the negative power cable back up. Ths will do a reset on the stereo and you may get lucky!

Don't put anymore cd' in it. Your only other option if you want that CD bad enough is to disassemble the case of the stereo and manually move the mechanism to eject it. Hope this helps
