If you could tell me what make and model of radio this is, I may be able to help you. Different radios have different solutions to there problems. What ever you do, do not force the disc out. It usually causes more damage than you started with.

PyroPCMan's solution is definately worth trying first. Just make sure you don't let the new disc get pulled in to the cd player. You don't want 2 disc's stuck in it. Some cd players have switches activated by a lever that gets moved when a disc is going into and out of a cd player. You only want to move those levers enogh to activate the switch. If your radio has this type of sensor, it could work nicely. And if it does work for you, be sure to give PyroPCMan the credit for it.

I will wait to find out what the make and model is of this cd player.

Thanks,

Dave

Try inserting another disc without actually inserting it. What I mean is try to fake out the player by inserting another disc, let it start to grab and pull it out before it gets sucked in. This will hopefully trick it into thinkig there is a disc in it so the no disc error goes away. Then try ejecting as normal.

Good Luck

hope this helps

Ive jus bought the car and the cd changer isnt working, i dont know if it has cds in or not, when going through the manual and doing everything it told me to the disply still shows mag empty but is not...

A couple of variables you left out that are needed to help. Is the changer an in-dash, or under the seat or in trunk? Either way, you can do a reset of the electrical system by disconnecting the negative side of the battery for about 20 minutes, then reconnect. See if that resets the system. If your vehicle is a van with electric sliding doors, you will have to reprogram your doors. There may be a few other reprogramming items you will need to do. See your owners manual.

My cd player will not work. I cannot eject discs or play them. Will taking off the postive side of the battery and then reconnecting it reset player and eject discs?

It might, I won't say for sure it will work, but there is a possibility it will. Try leaving the battery disconnected for about 5 to 10 minutes.

I have a Scion. My t1805 will not eject my cds. Is there something thhat I can do to get them out without tearing up my car or my radio.

There shoulr be a tiny black button behind most face-plates on aftermarket stereos that you can press with the end of an opened-out paper clip, should your eject button not work

Will not play CDs or eject them. Just makes noises like it is trying to change.

You have a problem with dirt lens on the PICKUP unit or the PICK P is maybe dead. First you should open the device and clean the lens with a cotton stick, it should be dipped first in the clean water. Put it on the lens annd gently spin it in circles. After that in five minutes or more try again with the playback.

My car stereo not rejecting cds.

is the deck even trying to eject cds? if it is, you may have a dirty pinch roller. if it isn't, try either pressing the reset switch or disconnect power to the radio for a few minutes.

Cd would not eject now wont play or eject or anything.

Start by checking all of the fuses in your car if the radio is not even powering on. If this does not work your next step is to have the unit repaired or replaced at which point the cds can by removed by taking the unit apart. You can do this yourself or take it to a best buy and have it replace with an aftermarket unit which will be much better and a lot cheaper than going back to the dealer
