Hey you commented on my post and i did what it said but the drive still wont read disks. The drive itself comes up in "computer" but still wont read disks

Hi,

Do you have the latest firmware installed on it, if not I would suggest updating it, if it still doesn't read after that it may be an internal problem with the enclosure or the laser has died.
