My TV has lines throughout the whole picture

When I turn on the tv the picture looks all distorted because of all the lines that are running horizontal across the tv. I have tried all the functions in the setup menu, but no luck.....they just will not go away.

I have the same problem. I have noticed it is worse right after I turn the tv on. The lines go away a little bit after the tv has been on for a while.

How do I fix wavy lines on Hauppauge Wintv hvr950q?

Are they wavy lines throughout the picture or are they just wavy on the side? Waving picture is usually caused by poor power supply filtering. Wavy lines throughout the picture are caused by interference. Try moving the device away from the computer with an extension USB cable it may be picking up interference from the surrounding electronic devices. It could also be defective.

Kv-35xbr48 turns on fine nice picture then horizontal lines form distorting picture like interference also is the back hard to take off and put on needs a good vacum thanks for any suggestion

At first the picture is ok, and then distorted with horizontal lines i thinks. If the horzontal lines are parellel acros the screen, with an inch apart across the whole screen, your tv needs screen adjustments. Screen voltage may be high. look into the crt base also. Change it first. These also not resolve the problem, LOT may be faulty, with respect to screen focus pack. May need replacement. Try first setting screen voltage to a lower settings and observe.

Green screen with almost horizontal zigzag lines

Is good that you hit it and it reacts, very likely you have loose conections in different places but for the distorted picture you need to check the horizontal driver transformer and flyback after that is corrected you need to check the complete chassis for loose conections.Take your time.Good luck.
