Go to device manager and check for the port setting. Maybe the port driver is corrupted.

Try to uninstall and reinstall the printer software.

Check the lan connection cable by removing the connection and return it back. maybe it is just loose connection.

Try this as well
Go to START MENU
Choose RUN
Type the letter "cmd"
Type the word "net stop spooler"
Exit
Go to C drive
Choose to Windows Folder
Click show content
Choose system32 folder
Choose spool folder
Choose printer
And delete all printing jobs pending
Again go back to CMD window and type the word "net start spooler"
Restart your computer also turn off your printer and switch it on.
It will work fine right now
I hope it helps you

I have a 420CN and it is giving me a unable to

The mechanical error is something literally wrong with the mechanics, usually this error occurs after a paper jam and when the paper is pulled out it cracks the maintenance unit.

Other issues include the switching arm, the ink cartridge/purge switch harness, purge cam switch, paper feed motor, and the main pcb.

Message "Unable to Init"

If there is no jam it is generally a mechanical issue such as...

1. The planetary arm assembly not engaged correctly
2. Ink cartridge/purge switch harness not connected correctly
3. Purge cam switch broken
4. Gear(s) on maintenance unit broken
5. Paper feed motor broken
6. Main PCB defective

I find that if there was a paper jam, and the user pulled the paper out, option 4 is most likely. It is the smallest of cracks but ruins everything!

You will need to contact your local ASC for repair, find it here.
