You need to make sure your default applications are set correctly. No need to make new partitions etc it is a problem with your settings for which programs you choose to be the default ones I think.

I have blue vertical lines down my pages. What do you think these are? I have tried all sorts of thigns to get rid of them. I can provide you with a screen shot if necessary. Monica

You didnt state if it was a desktop or laptop but I have seen something similar on laptops when the screen was comming disconected. With some it can be solved by re seating the monitor plug in, but how you do it depends on the brand... You should also check for a new video display driver. If on a desk top make sure the AGP or PCI card is seated correctly as well, but check for a new video driver. If using XP then go to the windows update and click custom, if a new driver is available it may have it. If not you have to get it from the manufacture or brand site.

I cant run my printer software, because it said that i need have a windows vista...but before i can use my printer i can easily download the software and i dont have any problem

Only brand new printers will work with Windows 7. I had an older laserjet and i kept trying to download the printer software and i couldn't understand why it didn't work. You need to buy a new printer unfortunately. I just bought an hp 4400 deskjet ...$39.99 at future shop. it works perfectly with Windows 7

Hi,i understand your plight, but i dont think you can get those Softwares for free except from crack sites Google these Software,i think Recovery Undelete, also i think you should get a new hard drive to avoid future re occurrence from the faulty one, then try backing up at least once a month onto a separate medium e.g DVDs,CDs or Flash Pen Or Disk, even an External Hard Drive Would the job for you.

STOP: 0x00000034 blue screen error... says to disable bios memory options such as caching or shadowing but I can't access windows it keeps restarting and going back to blue screen..... safe mode dont work,...

Hi,

This is a cache manager error or a missing DLL file error. This might have heppend as a result of some hardware of software changes that you might have made recently. You can either install the removed drivers once again or need to run a repair reinstall of windows to get the curropt dll files working again.

Make sure the jumpers on the HDD are set to master. Try on a different PC to see if it is recognized. Check the cables, etc..and let me know.
