The indicator light will not stay steadily lit in pairing mode. It never remains purple or blue. I'll hold down the call button, it will stay purple for maybe 4 seconds and then turns off. I've also tried holding down the call button, releasing when it becomes purple then open the boom...still nothing. It is charged, so I don't know what the problem is. Help!

PUT HEADSET IN PAIRING MODE

1. Ensure the headset is turned off (indicator light not blinking and headset
boom is closed)
2. Press and hold the Call button. After about 4 or 5 seconds, the indicator
light becomes steadily lit in magenta
3. Release the Call button and immediately open the headset boom. The
indicator light remains lit in magenta.

If the indicator light is flashing in blue or not steadily lit when opening the
headset boom, repeat steps 1 through 3

make sure the battery is fully charged. I have had a couple of these and they do not last for ever... the battery will eventually stop taking charge then it's time to send it off to the recyclers

I had the bluetooth paired with my red motorola raza, I just brought the grey motorola raza and I cannot get the bluetooth to pair with my new phone. It's the same exact phone, just a different color. The bluetooth is fairly new. Now the bluetooth wont come on at all since I tried to pair it with the new phone.

The only thing you really need to know for bluetooth headsets is the code to communicate it to your phone. Go under the connect wireless device option in your cell phone and select the bluetooth. Cause your phone to search for your device. While it is searching, hold down the power button on your bluetooth which should make it begin lighting up purple or some other color after about 5 seconds. You will have to put in a passcode for the headset, which for Motorola is usually 0000, or possibly 9999. Good luck! If you cant find that specific headseat guide, just look for a guide for any Motorola bluetooth headset, they are usually pretty much the same.
