Check for any short circuit that make your wire fried and replace your wires with new good brand type.

How do i wire my kenwood DPX308U cd player to my 2003 ford f-150

Red wire to power that comes on when you start your car. Black wire to ground or metal. Blue wire is for remote turn on of power amplifiers . Yellow wire needs to go to a constant power connection because this is for memory, so all of your radio stations will be there when you turn the unit on. The other paired color wires are for speaker connections. Here is a link for a PDF manual that will show all of your connections. Hint disconnect your battery before making power connections so you don't fry your radio.

I have a 1979 Zenith Allegro Console Stereo and would like to know how much it is worth.

it depends on the condition and who you find to buy it. if it is in new condition and you can find a collector that needs one its worth about $400. if its just a normal used stereo and your selling it on craigslist you would be lucky to get $50-$100. for it. unfortunately they weren't amazing stereos and they are not all that collectible at this point in time. you usually see them in free adds or by the side of the road. If you hold on to it for another 30 years, it should be worth something though. :)

I have this reciever and it has alot of static, is it worth fixing as don't know the price . it was given to us. is it worth the money

Static is good - that means the receiver is working. You just need a good antenna to get the radio stations better. It should work with a CD player - connect one hear what that sounds. If it's good, then the amplifier is in good shape.

Alpine 605 digital amp, watched wrench slip and cause big spark next to positive speaker wire out put, amp reads CUR, ive tried rebooting, unplugging ALL conects , still wont run just flashes CUR any...

it looks like that you have shorted out a output driver transistor, only option is to open up and look for scorched transistor, if you cannot see one then you will have to get a multimeter set to continuity setting testing.

take a readings between each pins in all possible combinations of all the transistor of similar shape and size, the transistor with the odd readings is the blown transistor.

Peugeot 406 cd player works when ignition is on but when engine is started cd player wont work. Radio is fine.

Just bought 2001 peugeot 406.The radio worked perfect but CD player not reading disk or operating. That was until I realised that the CD for driving safety will not allow you to put CD into it while driving or engine running.Switched off engine then switched it to 1st batt light position & CD worked perfectly. But when I then switched key off & then started it was back to not operating.I then realised that the CD player for safety will not operate when engine is running unless you let the CD start operating first pre engine fire then wait a little more time before starting .Now it should work properly though it will not allow even the passenger to change a disk while being driven. On disk change you have to go through the same start proceedure.Hope this will get your CD working.Sherlock ??

I have a philips cd player model# FW-C70/37, that has power going to it but has no sound coming from any of the speakers, nor will the cd changer open.

cd players work without use of volume controls coax cables hook up's and then by setting reciever to proper button so sound can come out
you might have had a power surge that fried your system but lets look at easy stuff first
fuses
lines in properly and connected
test on an old sterio with speaker hook ups and test your speakers by plugging in to old beat box
make sure wires are not scorched
turn on receiver fm see if speakers work change channels to sterio and mono settings if speakers start to work on sterio or mono setting chances are power surge blew out your system
hope this worked

Kenwood KDV-412 In-Dash AM-FM-CD-DVD Player.. Will not turn on

I found a switch in the trailer which my wife had switched to the off position that controlled the unit. Turned it back on, and power was supplied to the player. Dumb me... I'll not forget this 'fix' Thanks for your service and reply.
