Hi,

Depending on the model, two things you can try:
1. do a reset. there may be a small recessed reset button under the faceplate. Alternately, you may want to reference 1, 2, 3, 4. 5 or 6
2. remove the backup memory battery (if your model has one).

Other than that, it could be a firmware glitch and the corrective procedure would be to re-install/flash an update the firmware.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Try to set it again:

1/Verify the date and local time (this should be
the date and time according to the local date and
time of country/area you are in). Because the
time shows is Universal Time (UTC), you will
need to enter a time offset to display the correct
local time for your area.
2/Move the field highlight to the OFFSET field
and press Enter
3/With the arrows (←→), go to the figure which
represents the hours then with the up & down
arrows (↑↓), select the time offset for your
longitude and press .
4/Move the field highlight to the HOURS field
and change to 24 if that is not already the case.
5. Press QUIT , to return to the MENU Page, then select
Navigation Setup “NAV SETUP” with the Up & Down arrows (↑↓)
then press ENTER

Hope that helps.......

I have a Sharp Atomic clock , model SPC373 and the time is incorrect. Everything else is ok, how do I correct the time?

To correct the time on your Sharp Atomic clock, you will need to reset the time zone. To do this, press and hold the "Time Zone" button for 3 seconds until the time zone flashes. Then, press the "Hour" and "Minute" buttons to adjust the time zone to the correct time zone. Once the time zone is set, press the "Time Zone" button again to save the settings. The clock should now be displaying the correct time.

When i enter my facebook account it says that unable to secure transaction..in short i cant browse facebook page..why and how to solve this?

Hi there, kindly check if the date and time of your computer's clock is correct. If it is set wrong, it sends an expired security certificate. Set the clock correctly and see if you would be able to connect.

Unable to choose "pm" when setting time

Good question! There seems to be a little confusion over this. It appears that some firmware updates leave you with an option to select AM or PM hours from the System Options-->Set Time on the remote. The most recent firmware update seems to have removed this ability, so only a 12hr clock is shown, but there is no option to set AM or PM. The clock will always default to AM. So, one workaround is to simply set the time before noon! Also, the remote will pick up the correct time when connected to the computer (assuming your system clock is correct) and you update the remote.

Can't change date or time on my new Pentax K2000

Date/time are set at "first use" or through the tools menu.
Remove the batteries.  Leave the camera overnight, this may be enough to lose the current settings and allow setting new date/time.
Press Menu button.
Press right arrow on the 4-way controller to get the Tools (spanner) highlighted.
Press down arrow to get to date (or time).
Press right arrow
Now set to your preferred format.

If this does not work, try changing another item in the Tools menu.  If that change is not accepted, then it's into the dealer.

I am unable to change the time on the hand sets and the base from standard time to daylight time. Every time I change the time all the hand sets and base return to standard time with in one day. How do I...

The problem has not been corrected. I was told that the problem is with software. So I assume that the software in the base set and 4 hand sets must have a software problem, That is a bummer of solution. I might as well buy me some new phones and they will NOT be VTECH.
As far as I am concerned, the quality of your products is poor. Must be made in China
