Problem for KitchenAid 325 Watts KSM151PSMC Stand Mixer

Kitchenaid mixer - motor jammed

the splatter guard dropped into the bowl while mixing and the motor jammed and now it won't work. If I push it while it is on, the blade turns, but make s loose chain sort of sound. How can I take it apart ot see what is wrong? Thanks.
