Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

I have an HP Officejet pro L7580. I called tech support a couple of months ago and they had me reset the printer. I'm have similar problems and need to reset it again and can't remember how. It had something to do with holding a button down and turning the printer off or on...I'm not sure. Any ideas?

My officejet L7580 is brand new but when i want to scan anything it tells me there are No scan options.  Refer to device document what does this mean

HP Officejet Pro L7580 says I unplugged it, but I didn't!

It sounds like the printer is suffering from some kind of hardware failure which may have been caused by a power surge or similar.

I've never heard of this particular problem and I doubt HP will have either but my advice would be to contact HP support and see if they can provide more information or advise you better.

Unfortunately if my guess is right, there's really not a lot you can do except replace the printer with a new one.
