Question about Whirlpool LER5636P Electric Dryer
Sorry I have been off line on medical leave.
The Whirlpool belt is very simple. Always make sure you have the dryer unplugged or the power turn off at the breaker box!
While you have the dryer apart I recommend that you vacuum out the collected lint and do some preventative maintenance. I would put a couple drips of a lite oil on the roller shafts of the back rollers.
Now the groves of the belt face down against the cylinder, you will see on the cylinder spot is worn where the belt rides. then with the extra belt loop it thru the idler wheel and on to the motor pulley. This is the hardest part.
Once the belt is on a good test is to turn the cylinder and see that the belt is in place. Reassemble dryer.
Again sorry Im finally doing stairs againt. Let me know if you have any questions.
