I have fp567s monitor\r\nit often goes silver while starting and it needs monitor off button to be pressed (sometimes twice/thrice) for windows / boot screen to come alive i have re-installed the driver twice, i have also checked the freq at 60Hz still no solution pls help

The silver hwite/grey screen means that the LCD panel is not getting the signals, 5vdc from the logic board. Try reseating the connections between the logic board and the LCD panel first.
Also check the power supply caps.

How to Disable Demo mode

According to the Dell manual you need to be in the Movie preset and then you press the Down arrow and X buttons at the same time to disable/enable the one demo mode.

There's also an in-store demo mode, to disable that, press and hold buttons 2 and 4 for five seconds.

First without connecting the external Monitor/TV Go to display properties and Lower down resolution then when you connect the TV press and hold the Fn key on the left bottom of keyboard between Ctrl and Alt and while holding FN ket down press Change monitor button ( Normally F5)( must be having 2 monitor kind of image printed on any of the function key) once then twice or thrice to shift between different options like display output on one monitor, 2 monitor, extended display etc.

On pressing the power button on the front of the monitor. The button lights up then imediatly turns off. I tried the monitor on another computer with the same results.

The monitor is going bad. There are parts on the power supply board which are failing. You can send it to a company like mine or take it to a local repair person. See my website.

Setting the date and time on watch

time:
hold left button -- hour will appear and begin flashing.
press right button to set.
press left button to advance to minutes, press right to set.

date:
press left -- date will appear. now hold left until day flashes.
press right to set.
press left to advance to month, right to set. then same again for year.

FP567s Ver.2 ON/OFF

This is most probably cause by one or more Faulty Electrolytic Capacitors, I find these are the MOST commonest form of "Fault" in these LCD's TFT's units. I ususally simply replace "On Spec" all High Value Electros, in fact ALL Electro's are suspect and often I just "Shotgun" and replace 'em all. Usually fixes all problems. Always use High Temperature Caps.
