dropping the Ipod would have lead to damage of the port or the speakers.

this needs a service from the apple directly.

if you have a warranty you can get it done free.

but dont tell them that you dropped the ipod.

just say them that the speakers dont work.

Well the screen can be fixed by sending it to apple or one of many other repair shops. The water is the hard part. Your best bet is to fill a zip lock bag with dry rice and put your ipod inside and leave it for a week and maybe the rice will pull the moisture out. Water is a killer but once it dries out, you might be lucky. In the end it may cost more to repair than its worth.

Ipod fine oneday then suddenly while playing music the volume drops real low and distorted and choppy but everything else works fine it still connects to the cpu and itunes still transfers music in and out...

I've seen this happen to a lot of people I know. If it's under warranty still, then send it in. They will most likely end up sending you a new one anyway.
If the warranty has expired, then you'll most likely end up having to buy a new one. Unless you know someone who is good at fixing small electronics and doesn't charge much.

I pod touch while sincing new data, old is getting erased

Hi, I think you are using Itunes to Sync your IPOD-T.

If u r using Itunes Then u shouldn't delete any thing from ur ITUNES... Because, Sync is a option which will check the contents of your ipod and Itunes... If u erase anything from your itunes, then it will erase the same in ur IPod as well.... So U shouldn't delete anything from ur itunes....

Other option would be Manual Sync option... Where u have to drag and drop the contents from ur Itunes. Everytime....

Let me know, whether u want to manually add contents to ur ipod. so tat i can send u the settings?
