Enter the security code using your Kenwood remote. For the DDX6019 The key sequence to enter the security code KCAR : on the side of the remote there is AUD, DVD,TV. now enter 55 in the AUD then go to DVD and enter 2 which is fast forward then go back to AUD. Do the same for the rest. 5 5 fast forward 2 2 2 fast forward 2 fast forward 7 7 fast forward
the double din kit was restricting it from opening properly, once i removed it from the kit it worked properly. i had to modify the kit for it to work properly!
Here is the manual for your head unit. http://www.retrevo.com/search/v2/jsp/downloadPage.jsp?doc=76c9232582ab1bd436a421f43a105c4a&q=Kenwood+DDX6019 I hope you can get it to work. -Andrew Hawkins
a friend of mine who is into bypassing stuff...found this method from sumwhere and it worked on my system...
u need to reset the system first by pressing the small button right next to <ATT> using a ball point pen or something pointed...
once it reboots,
keep the <SRC> button pressed till the display goes off, then while keeping the <SRC> button pressed, press the <ATT> button for 3 seconds, while keeping both of these pressed at the same time, press the small <RESET> button next to the <ATT> button using something sharp...
this hard resets the system and it reboots to a blank screen,
press the <SRC> button once and you have all the options working...
anything else, lemme know...
