Just set up panasonic scpt950k speaker system with toshiba television and wireless speakers aren't working. Green light is on - no sound. Checked digital card and it seems to be engaged. any suggestions
I have the same problem on a ebay unit I bought but noticed that the receiver has a different id # than the transmitter. I was told there was a reset button on the back of the receiver unit but I couldn't get any it to make any difference...also I can't seem to find any help at Panasonic.com/support to answer any of my questions....said they would answer by email within 48 hours - never happened. Also tried to find out if a transmitter can be purchased separately to match with the receiver...no reply or answers there either. Any help out there?

move ur speakers around. if the noise is absent on some places u can be sure its the digital box. or one fix that might work is - get aluminium foils and wrap ur speakers. this can blank out interferences. if that works, open ur speakers and line the walls with thick aluminium foils. hope this helps.
If you go into the set up menu and go to the speakers set up - it only
shows the right, left, centre and subwoofer on the screen. You need to
go down to the box below these speakers and activate the rear speakers
which are not shown. The wireless section will then light up w1/2 on
the display at the front of the scbt100 - i had to call panasonic to
figure this out and they advised me it was missing from the
Make sure you have put the transmitter for the wirless speaker in the slot on the back of the reciever, it is a slim white device that is about 3 to 5 inches long?? and maybe half an inch thick. and make sure it is put in the right way.
Then make sure the wireless speaker is plugged in to the wall outlet.
If this does not work for you it may require being taken in to an authorized panasonic service center. when one part of the wireless system fails (transmitter or reciever) they both must be replaced. they are not interchangable from one panasonic to another.
They have a code in each unit that lets the wireless speaker that came with it only work with the reciever it was sold with.
I have even seen times where the store that sells them swapped the transmitters of two units and then they had two customers very mad at them because the wireless speakers did not work for either person.
