When I click on internet explorer it takes 5 minutes to show up. Or multiple windows show up.

Multiple windows show when you click multiple times do to the belief the system is not responding. Your system is handling all your requests just taking forever to do so. You problem is simply really it needs a professional cleaning at this time to speed it back up.

This is an issue that just comes with time on the internet. There is no way to stop it or prevent it entirely just to keep up with is. Its much like how aids is to humans. You have spyware on your PC

You may try a combanation of
CCleaner
Malewarebytes Antimaleware
AVG antivirus

Thanks

Every time i try to get on facebook these letters and numbers pop up like a script on the page

It sounds like you have a virus or some malware
Try opening internet explorer in no add ins mode and run an up to date anti virus package checking for Antivirus,, spyware, malware and rootkits. AVG has a free version that is pretty good.

Monitor flashes

I had the same problem with the flashing screen. It turned out to be the anti virus - anti spyware software was somehow screwing with the harddrive files. I uninstalled the anti virus and spyware program and that stopped the flickering. Hope this helps.

Computer Freezes when connected to internet.

The first step is to verify that you are not infected with a spyware or virus infection. The fact that you are only having freezing problems when you are connected to the internet is a sign that you may have some kind of infection.

The Geek Squad website has links to free online virus and spyware scanners that can tell you if you're infected.

http://www.geeksquad.com/tools/detail.aspx?id=377

If those scans come up as clean could you please post a Hijackthis log file so we can look at what processes you have running?

THE LAST OPTION AND THE SAFEST ONE IS THAT BACKUP UR DATA AND FORMAT YOUR HARD DISC. THIS WILL ELIMINATE ANY FURTHER INFECTION BY THE SAME VIRUS IF ITS NOT REMOVED BY THE ANTI VIRUS.

Do you have a virus scan and a spyware removal program. Before you open the browser up run each of the programs to make sure there is no virus present or spyware problems. After running them try shutting down and restarting. Run updates for the 2 programs. Then try browsing again.

Hope this helps you
