Have you tried taking the remote out of the room? Sometimes they can go crazy.

If the set stays put, change the remote batteries.

There should be a button on the t.v. itself for input.
Make sure you push on the input button til the desired HDMI input

I don't know what channel to play Dream Life: Superstar TV Plug-In on?

It plugs into the AV (Audio Video) socket on your TV. If you don't have AV sockets (they are usually coloured Yellow for video, and red and/or white for audio) then you will need to buy a Scart to phono (or RCA) adapter, cheaply available on ebay or walmart etc. You then need to switch your TV to the AV channel which will be labeled as ext 1 or ext 2 or sometimes on older sets it is channel zero.I hope
I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

Usually this happens to my set when I am in HD cable channel mode after being on a non-digital ANALOG channel.

I basically reset the TV by changing to a DIGITAL cable channel -- stay on that channel for ten-twenty seconds -- then I switch back DIRECTLY to a HD channel (key in channel number directly on remote).

TV works fine -- seems to be a glitch when the TV changes modes from Analog to HD

Need help to program my new T.V. to my remote

hold down code until it stays lit, then press tv then keep hitting channel up or channel down (either one can be used, keep pressing channel button til tv changes channels when it does press enter, or ok if enter is not there, it may take awhile maybe a few channel pushes up to 200 and up times, you use this method when you don't know the code for your tv. Hope this helps.

You must have channel 6 programed to first ext when you turn TV on it seems that it is programed on ext2 instead of ext Go to Menu then do Auto Program when you have it on ext and make sure your inputs are on first ext and not ext2

Tobshiba tv stays in one channel.

You might need to go into the menu options and set the input from cable to air or vice a verse. The tv in my kids room is like that if it's set to cable with no input at the cable jack then it only gets one channel even after you try to add channels.

you need to take it in for repaits....trying to trouble shoot it on here wont be of any help to you,,,most repair shops know what it is when they see what the tv is doing and will estimate the repair before they do it so that you know the cost before they fix it

Channel keeps changing

It sounds like a stuck button or switch. What happens when you hit the channel DOWN, does it still keep scrolling down?
Is this with or without the remote?
Have you tried it with the remote and or the TV?

Let me know whether you are changing the channels with the remote or the buttons on the tv and I can try to give you a couple more suggestions.
Mac =)

How to keep TV on digital?

It depends a little bit on your setup but sounds like you may have drifted from an external source to the television's internal tuner.
On my slightly different Aquos model my digital channels are "Ext 5" and "Ext 6".  There is a button next to the digits that is a square with an arrow pointing into the inside of the square.  This can be used to cycle through the external analogue and digital sources.
Push the button and then leave it for about 5 seconds as it can take a while before an image is displayed.  Keep pushing the button until the right digital channel is displayed.

Sharp 27" tv

You got the right idea, use the ext.imput on you tv and use the vcr to change the channels, you can check the solder conections in the tuner ,ussually the ground gets loose after a while but if you are not too familiar with tv service and dont want put any money in this set use your vcr.If the quality of the picture is still good then is worth keeping it.Let Us know if you need more information.
