Can the LG Electronis LWHD1500ER air conditioner be installed through the wall, what wall thickness max., and is there a sleeve to assist in doing so.

- Correct analysis, since maximum wall thickness is only 5 1/4 inches, which means that siding on the exterior wall is out, opening would have to be framed with a flat-lying material such as vinyl sheet or painted composite.

I don't believe that this unit can be mounted in a through the wall application. My database does not show a wall sleeve for this unit. The biggest reason will be the side vents for the condenser heat exhaust. I would stick to the manufacturer suggested window application.
