Fridge quit working

Only thing that works are the lights inside. Door lights for water dispenser blink. Fridge 3 years old.

- No, we checked for a fan blowing or anything but nothing is running. We're wondering if it isn't the motherboard. They've had alot of problems with that.

Do you hear the compressor running?(A soft humming noise from the back of the fridge). Let me know this info so that i can help you out..

It can be the motherboard but since the compressor is not running i will put my money on it. Moreover motherboard replacement is an expensive repair and should only be the last option. Since the lights are working the motherboard is able to detect whether the door is closed or open. Time to get a new compressor?Please confirm the model number so that i can help you find a replacement part and the instructions for replacing it..
