When you replaced resistor, did the wiring connector appear burnt or blackened?
Also some control modules need programming of sorts but being an 06, probably not.

1988 gmc 1500 truck acts like running out of gas will quit running then will start back an do same thing again has plenty of gas in tank

look for vacuum leaks anywhere ..check under cap/coil for wear/dirt on ignition parts replace if dirty/blackened or wet..pull a plug and look for blackened tips or carbon bildup..replace plugs if dirty..is the truck carburerated or tbi..clean with stp carb and tbi cleaner..it will remove built up varnish and gunk in/on the throttle plate and jets..also some filters have a backpressure valve in them to prevent vapor lock in older vehicles that had this issue..if you can blow thru it should work ok..if not needs replaced with type that doent have the valve in it.(has arrow that shows flow direction)..good luck repost findings

I have a kenmoer 66516039402 dishwasher. It is stuck in clean mode the clean light just flashes and the dishwasher will not start a new wash.what can I do to fix it.

Re: clean light blinks seven times on Kenmore Dishwasher model # 66516034401

After reading online and studying the parts diagram/list (included with paperwork that came with washer) and troubleshooting guide/wiring schematic (located under the bottom front kick panel) I determined it could only be 5 things, all easy to look at and check when you pull out the dishwasher (remove racks first and cut power via the circuit breaker).

They are heating element, wiring check for burn marks/melting), high limit thermostat (mounted on bottom of tub against tub, detects if tub overheats), thermistor (screw in mount near motor, detects process temp inside dishwasher, and the control panel. Unfortunately, I started buying and replacing the parts piecemeal (first high limit thermostat, then thermistor, then heating element, even though it tested good). Only then did I remove the panel (top 6 screws inside door, no need to remove the whole door panel) and check the circuit board. After separating the circuit board from its plastic case that covers the back of the board, I saw that the back of the board was badly burned/blackened about the size of a fifty cent piece around the heater circuit relay (this was not visible from the front). Bingo. I should have done a comprehensive check first and save $100 on parts that were probably good. When ordering online, the circuit board part was changed, perhaps to an improved part if the relay burning out is a common problem. Good luck.

I have a Daewoo DWD FD1233. It's brand new & 12 minutes before end of cycle it comes up with E8 as an error. The machine wont spin after that. What can i do? Lots of wet washing.

Daewoo e8 - engine error! or Bad soldering.
Remove the control panel (the one in which many connections). Remove the rear rubber compound around contacts blue relay.
Resolder them. And it will be all ok!
Or - remove the entire back of the compound and look for where the bad soldering (cold soldering ). You can see it - blackened or exfoliated. Just solder all.

My Haier compact refrigerator, Model # AES27, stopped running. I unplugged it and then plugged it back in and only hear a humming sound for like 10 seconds and then nothing.

These are noted for bad controller boards. It is located under the back cover. Look under the cover and see if the control circuit board is blackened or smells burned. You can get parts at this link:

What exactly is your problem ? Some blackening on the circuit board doesn't mean it should be replaced. In case the board should be replaced (you can do it yourself), you should understand first what cause it to become blackening. Let us know with more details and we will do our best to support you. Good luck !!
