Electrolux ESL 43010 dishwasher - intermittent beep during operation - but cannot find problem

Hi there, our Electrolux slimline dishwasher has started beeping intermittently during operation in the last few weeks. Looking through the manual, the signals are referring to a problem of the dishwasher not filling with water. However, this does not seem to be the case - there is clearly water going into the dishwasher through the inlet hose. The dishwasher is only a few months old. No idea what is causing the dishwasher to think it is not filling with water! Would be grateful for any help.

before you operate the dishwasher get your water as hot at the sink as you can this will prevent filling the dish washer with cold water and i would use powder or liquid now if you not sure of your heating element turn your washer to dry close the door for about 2-3 minutes get a glass of cold water open the door and pour water on the element if it sizzles its working

Hello,
Try tipping the dishwasher back to see if any water drains out from below if there is water present then the anti-flood device is energised and stopping water coming into the unit.If it works now after resetting then there is a leak under the machine that needs investigating. You can try going into the diagnostics to read the alarms. If you hold in the first and third button from the left on programmer, whilst holding in then press the on/off button then when the lights start racing release these 2 buttons. You should now be in the diagnostics, now press the first button once and count the flashes of the end of cycle LED.If this button is pressed 2 more times it will give the previous alarms.1 flash could indicate fault on inlet water and valve.2 flashes drain circuit blocked.3 flashes anti-flood device.8 flashes faulty circuit board.Make sure after reading alarms to switch off unit then on then off to reset. Then go back into the diagnostics as before to reset alarms but this time press button 2 from left all LEDS will flash after exit as before.

Hope this helps.

Assuming that power is being supplied to the unit. Unplug door switch. If display comes on. Replace switch.

Hi, my dishwasher is stuck draining and issuing the three beeps 'anti-flood' error with no sign of a leak? Is it possible to re set this?

you need to remove the bottom plate and clean up any water. it most likely means there is a leak in the gasket around the door and it tripped the flood sensor. the only way to reset it, is to deal with any water and dry it up and then power down and power up the washer.

More importantly I would look for leaks. Bad hoses or possible rubber that dried out and cracked. Maybe someone spilled water and it got on the sensor too. Either way , water is what causes that sensor to activate.

Electrolux esl 6226 not working beeping sound and light flashing

Hello Eamonn, I am happy to assist you!

Let's try resetting the dishwasher by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn dishwasher back on. Confirm that the door is properly latched and try selecting a cycle. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, it could potentially mean a number of things: a potential wiring failure, faulty door latch assembly or control board. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the appliance.

Electrolux dishwasher esl 6114 door does not lock

Hi Peter Gumbrell - Often when the dishwasher door does not lock, it is because the of door lock assembly. The door lock or latch may either be faulty or damaged. If I was in your position, I would personally recommend consulting a professional to accurately diagnose the dishwasher to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

Electrolux ESL 43010 does not get hot ,and the dishes are not clean any ideas?

Hi - If the unit is not drying nor cleaning properly, there are two main things to check first. Is the incoming water temperature at least 120F (49C)? If not, I strongly suggest that the temperature be adjusted on your water heater. Are you using rinse aid? Use a rinse agent to increase drying performance and using Sanitize or Air Dry Off mode also helps improve drying. If any proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately.

I've been dealing w/electrolux for over 2 years on a dishwasher problem. Technician have tried all that they know & the dishes still come out dirtier than when they go in. I've been using it as a drying rack. Kinda exspesive drying rack. Electrolux won't stand behind their product either. They are offering me a 60% discount on a new Elextrolux dishwasher! Are they kidding?

Hi, I have an Electrolux ESL 4115. It seems to be stuck on 50 degrees but wont start as usual when I close the door, the on/off button works and lights functioning as normal but that's all. Thanks

I had a similar problem - seemingly stuck or locked with a solid light showing (in my case on the 65 degree wash). Nothing seemed to unlock it. But when I closed it and went away to think about what to do next - some 5 minutes later - it made its end-of-cycle peeps. It now works fine. All I can think of is that I must have interrupted the previous wash cycle l was using before it had ended, and had left the door ajar. all it needed was the door closing for the cycle to finish. Does that help?
