Question about Toshiba Satellite M35X-S111 Notebook
I have seen this one before and sent this computer in for repair THREE times for this same problem. Somewhere inside the guts of this machine there is a plug that wiggles loose over time. All the technician does is open the machine up, plug it back tight and then cahrge mw $100.
Anyone know where this plug is and how to access it? I can see the screen but the colors have changed as if some of the pins in the plug are not contacting.
There aren't many connections for the screen. There will be two possibly three behind the screen and one that connects the screen to the board. $100 is steep, it would be $40 tops at my shop and I would discount and show you where it is and how to do it yourself on the second time. This link may help, it's got breakdown diagrams for various models.
