Question about Husqvarna Viking 1
I have a husqvarna 6010, and can't get the side panel off. I can't figure out how to remove the hand wheel.
Stevanos said: hand wheel is clipped on and must be pulled off, but requires some muscle.
I had to pry it off.
I was chipping the inside edge of the wheel with one flat blade screw driver as I tried to pry it off. I finally got it off with using even pressure by using a putty knife on one side and the flat blade screw driver on the other side. Thanks for the help stevanos!

...mine could not be pried off since the clip was entangled up with threads debris that had been accumulated over the years. The solution was to remove the base of the machine, unscrew the side panel and bend it so it could - to some extent - be rotated around the hand wheel to the side. That gave me some opening to could come in and remove the the nest by 'minimal invasive surgery'.
