My phone just stopped working properly. I can power-up and see the screen but none of the keys work. I tried phoning to the phone but that is not working either it simply goes to the answering service.

Is your battery charging properly? Is the phone on but the display isn't working? Try long pressing the power button to force it to shut off and try and turn it back on. You should hear a boot up sound or some sort of vibration, if so it means your phone is working but your display driver or screen is having a problem. If none of this works you may have to try a factory reset using volume down buttons and the power button. There are YouTube videos that can walk you through the process.
might be a software problem conflicting with the phone. you can boot the phone to safe mode. what it does is when booting up it will disable only the third party programs that you have and you can rule out what apps are causing the problem.
Turn the device off.
Press and hold the Power key.
When 'Samsung Galaxy S5' appears on the screen, release the Power key.
Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.
Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
Safe mode will display in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode.
wake the screen then press the power button to start power down. Then long press the pop up power down button til a prompt appears to reboot into safe mode. Select ok and then use your phone in safe mode. If it works without those errors then there is some app affecting your other functions of your phone.

Switch-off your phone. 1. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, *
Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to
swtich on the phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 press and
keys until you see a formatting word screen show! 2. After a
minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your phone
back to original system and factory settting.

Try taking a credit card or ID card and placing it on its side across the top of the keys. Then swipe it down across the keys. This should unstick any of the keys that may be stuck and your phone should start working fine.
