Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Has anyone there worked out which fuse it is that the printer blows on the etb when it is installed? I have replaced these in other machines and reset the counters successfully - has anyone worked it out ? there is a small pcb where the motor is but the pica fuse there (U1) doesn't seem to be blown.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have successfully reset the transfer kit life by entering the service mode then resetting the color page count to zero then powering off then on. Hope this works for you too!

The new fuser units don't have the circuitry to reset automatically. You have to order the aftermarket/rebuilt fusers as they have the fuse to reset the counters built into them. The OEM fuser as is in the new machine does not have this circuitry.
