Unfortunately I do not understand any of the suggestions. I feel I have made a mistake registering for ErrorUpdate Tool as it is not addressing my problem although 271 errors were found and apparently corrected. I would not know if errors were corrected as I was not experiencing anything wrong except the Email problem.

Trying to email pictures through windows photo gallery. Can't delete attempts from yesterday(keeps adding), but when I get to next screen and it says its sending it, it looks like bar begins to move but it...

you pictures is too large that the sending keeps it sending long enough and it slows down since its sending a huge data out to the server. usually it sends up to 2mb ..and usually it takes long and when you keep it usually attemps to send it again. Delete that in your outbox and try to resize the image.

This is a very strange solution, hopefully someone can help you out more than me, though whenever I have problems that are strange especially with microsoft email or anything internet related I delete my temporary internet files and reboot, and the problems go away.

There are two ways to remove the temporary internet files, through internet options or disk cleanup.

Internet Options can be found in Control Panel or in tools in Internet Explorer.
Disk Cleanup can be found by going to the Start Menu, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup.
After doing a disk cleanup it wouldn't hurt to do a defrag on the hard drive. Disk Defragmenter can be found in the same location as Disk Cleanup.

Personally I use the free Mozilla Thunderbird and haven't had any trouble. Of course most workplaces use microsoft products and you have no choice.

Thank you for your offer of further assistance - the problem had been ongoing for upwards of 2 weeks - it is now solved having discovered that the Windows talktalk format had been changed.
Could you please advise me of how to claim a refund and once again apologizing for the inconvenience caused.

Windows Mail

Hi, this fix was on a website I found & may help..

This problem happens because your version of Outlook Express is set up to use Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which your ISP does not use.
To fix this problem, open Outlook Express, and click:
- Tools
- Accounts
- Then click on your connection and click Properties
- Then click Advanced
- On this screen remove the checks from the boxes This server requires a secure connection for both Outgoing mail (SMTP) and Incoming mail (POP3).
You may have to play with the settings a bit to suit your setup.
