Hi robyn, Well i am sorry to hear your problem as i cant think of anyone that likes washing up... I am under he impression that the inner seal that is attached to the dishwasher cabinet inside the disheasher is the one you are talking about? If so then you are going to have to replace the inner wash tub,as this seal housing ( the metal piece ) is spot weilded in. So you will need to strip everything out and from underneath the dishwasher too. Not sure on the price of the part but the job itself is very time consuming and costly..
