Our dinner plates hit the rotating arms of the jets. We have checked the manual and we are loading correctly. Just doesn't make sense.

I've loaded the place as described in the manual but the spray arm can't rotate.

Solution - there are 2 sets of rollers about 2 inches apart. You just click off the stoppers at the end of the sliding arms on the top shelf, take out the rack and put it back onto the higher set of rollers!!!

Dinner plates are too big!
however, often the top basket can be repositioned to go higher which should solve the problem

Kitchenaide rinse dispenser in dishwasher doesn't work. White soapy streaks on plates

Confirm that lower washarm is rotating. Initially check by rotating by hand. Second mark arm position turn on unit stop and heck arm position.

Listen very carefully and confirm arm is turning. It is often found debris clogs the lower arm jet preventing the arm from turning.

Also check the water level in washer sump. Low will also keep the arm from rotating.

Hope this helps.

Dinner plate stops arm rotating, plates must be able to go in. why is the arm hitting the dinner plate.surely you must be able to wash your dinner plates in there, from tray to arm is 250cm.

on the topshelf of the dishwasher there are 2 lots of slide wheels . these are to set the shelf at different heights they should be on the lowest wheels to give you the maximum distance between the bottom tray and the spinning arm

My dinner plate stops the arm rotating, why? model fdud4812

Both upper and lower washing arms operate on the water pressure and angle of water flowing thru them.
Pressure provided by water pump.

Just about anything that contacts the rotating arm can stop it.
Best thing to do is re-arrange items in dishwasher so that arms can spin freely.
One can always spin washing arms by hand to ensure proper clearance.

Hope this helps...

Glasses not getting cleaned on inside

It could be a packing problem, check you manual for the correct method to pack various items in the machine, otherwise it might be that the arms are not spinning freely. Check them first to see if they rotate easily when spun by hand, then check the outlet jets at the trailing end of the arms are not blocked with food particles and other solid matter. This often happens and the arm is unable to turn because the water jet that is supposed to drive the arm does not have the force to rotate it with the result is that the dishes do not get enough water and chemicals. It may also cause water to continue dripping onto dried dishes after the the drying cycle has stopped.

Dish not realy not clean leves film on them same soap as alwayes

Hi. Check that the arms are spinning. Something maybe jamming arms like a knife or fork sticking below the basket hitting arm or check that the jets, particularly the end jets are not blocked. Easiest way to check if spinning is to rotate arms into a known position and start a cycle with dishes in machine. After say 1 minute open door and see if arms have rotated. Cheers. Slavious

Water spinner hits dinner plates and cannot turn. i can see no way to adjust the dinner plates are average size i didnt have a problem with my other dishwasher.

Check the side left & right side. There should be an adjustment. Pull the rack and observe. you might have to select the lower rails.

Refer your user manual.

Lower spray arm siemens aquastop dishwasher doesn't rotate

Sprayers require water to pass through the jets to provide motion to the arms.

Remove the sprayer from the machine and look for blockages. (Removal should be easy, at it is expected that the user will need to clean the jets occasionally; If you have any problems removing it, consult your manual).

Arms don't seem to be spinning

chances are there are either dishes that are too high or utensils dropping down in the way. Adjust the height of the racks to accommodate your large dinner plates.. also spin them by hand and see if the spin easily.. if not could be several problems.. also clean the filters in the bottom of the dishwasher. Remove the arms and check for blocked jets.. I found rice in my jets. Rice should be rinsed off the plates first... many people have rice issues.
