I have a 2005 chevy malibu LS V-6 that when i drive sometime the gas needle moves and when i'm at a red light or stop it levels out. Sometimes it moved when im park and then level out. I want to know if it a recall on this problem or do i have to come out of my pocket to pay for it cover it if my warranty do not cover it.

This sounds like the fuel level sensor in the gas tank is going bad, or there is a bad ground at the tank. A technician using a scan tool can monitor the actual fuel level data to verify. Another possibility is a bad stepper motor in the instrument panel, each gauge had a stepper motor to drive the needle.
there is whats called a trunk lock mechanism that is simmaler to what is in you doos to keep them shut there is a plastic tab that keeps the trunk closed the tap has brokern find you local chevy dealer and pick up the trunk latch should not be any more than $30 usd and labor to put it in will run about $50 usd
it is most likely a faulty fuel level sender in the tank, and the check engine light is on because of a fuel level sensor code. the tank will need to come out to change.
This happens on mine, its got to do with the fuel sensor, I frequently fill up and sometimes keep fueling after the nozzle clicks. This is what caused my problem. I have since stopped fueling immediately after it clicks and have not had the problem. Make sure you arent over filling your tank
I have an 04 Malibu and when I get hard starts when I'm in the car I just press the accelerator down about half way and it always starts right up, some times I have to hold the accelerator down a little after starting to stop it from stalling but it is rare.
