Question about GE Refrigerators
The regrig is a side by side model GE. The freezer section works perfectly but the fresh food section does not cool. The frig is 10 years old and seems to be working fine except it isn't cooling the fresh food. Recently we loaded up the fresh food section after a party and it was so full that the door didn't close properly. This began the warming problem and it seems to have gotten worse. I checked the coils under the frig and they were dirty so I cleaned them. What else could be the problem.
I have a sub zero that keeps growing bits of mold around the working parts of the fridge. Is this normal?

It´s probably overloaded. Any refrigerator has a specific cooling capacity eg x Kg/24hours. you must check that capacity and charge acording to that.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello friend, thanks for your post!
I see your Frigidaire refrigerator is not freezing in the freezer section but keeping your fresh food side cool. Some possibilities could be your refrigerator stuck in defrost mode, the control panel, or sealed system. I would recommend performing a reset on your appliance which would be flipping your household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If that does not resolve your issue I would seek assistance from a professional to properly diagnose and repair your appliance. -Matt
