Question about 3Com OfficeConnect Wireless 11g Cable/DSL Gateway Router (3crwe754g72-a-uk)
When I connect two 3CRWER100-75 routers on for "base" and the other for "repeater" I configure both routers like:
The router "base" configured with WDS on and the option WDS-RootAP (Base router) DHCP enabled.
The router "repeater" configured with WDS on and the option EDS-STA (Repeater) DHCP disabled.
When I connect thru 4-port, the PC's does not connect, no DHCP IP assigned on the child router.
On the WLan pc's no iP assigned from dhcp server of the base router
Router 1 (base) router 2 (repeater) router 1 (base) is the network, the SSID is where u get your internet connection set router 2 with same SSID, DHCP on. i advise connecting hardline to make sure both routers are working correctly. once thats verified then go wifi
