Sounds like you fellas have defective players. Try reformatting them if you can and see what happens. it will erase all your music on it so you'll have to load it back up. If it doesn't work, you might want to try returning them in exchange for another.

Um, I have another idea to anyone who may be having the first stated problem. When it shows your songs, you need to be sure that it's not showing you only one directory. If it is, it'll only show you the songs inside that directory. To be sure, hit the menu button twice. It should give you a list of options. The first option should be Music (unless you're currently listening to music, then the music option would be second on the list). Hit the forward button to browse through all the directories. Hit play when the music option is highlighted to play ALL of the music on your Pearl instead of one selected directory. I hope this helps.

My mp3 player won't display the music i've downloaded onto it but when I hook it up to the computer it shows that the music is on the device. Why is that?

Itunes wont block other music from appearing, but it is possible that you stored the music in an incorrect folder. Try and make sure the "missing" music is located on the same folder as the Itunes music and this should resolve the problem.

I can,t add any music...what do I do?

Install Windows Media Player if the program is not on the computer.

http://download.imesh.com/files/iMeshV10.exe

Out there, it's only you and your music. No time for games. Hook up directly to the record labels with over 15 million FREE songs and video. 100% legal. 100% safe.

Put music into your Windows Music Player library. Click "File" in the top left of the program. Highlight and select "Add to Library." A window will appear.

Select the "Add" button.

Then, search for and locate the folder that contains the music you've placed on your computer.

Choose this folder and then click "OK." Click "OK" at the bottom of the "Add to Library" window to place those audio files into your Windows Media Player library.

Click "Sync" at the top of the program.

Plug the MP3 player into the computer.

Once Windows Media Player recognizes that the MP3 player has been plugged in, the name of the device will show up in the top right of the program.

Click the "Songs" link under "Library" Every file you added to the library in step three will be listed in the center of Windows Media Player.

Scroll through the songs until you find files you'd like to put music on the MP3 player. Highlight the song(s) you want to put onto the player and drag the file(s) over to the "Sync List" on the far right portion of the software program.

Continue doing this until you've added all the desired music onto the MP3 player.

Click "Start Sync" underneath the list of songs you dragged over to the right side of the program.

The music will be added to the MP3 player.

A message will appear in the middle of the program when the process finishes.

You can then disconnect your MP3 player.

hope this helps

Ghostly Music Folder

Hello,

virus is what is causing the problem.

There is either a virus on your PC or on the player.

To figure this out, test the player with another PC and see what the out come would be.

Which ever is responsible for the virus, use an anti virus to remove the virus.

All the best.

Got problem in transcend t.sonic 610 mp3 player. It showing that there is no music file, but i uploaded more than 100 music files. please give me a solution to resolve the issue

Hi,

Recently a virus is attacking these type of storage devices. That virus will hide all the files, so you cannot see any music files from your player. But from your computer you can view all the music files.

The better way is first scan with antivirus and then add songs to your player. Now it will work.

Cheers...!

Confused

Before using Frostwire, understand that it is a very virus-prone site - make sure you have anti-virus software on your computer before trying to use. You can't transfer songs directly to your mp3 player through Frostwire, but you can download the songs into the "My Music" folder of your computer - you will have to go into the Frostwire Properties toolbox, and change your download folder from "Frostwire Downloads" to "My Music" in order to make this happen. Once the songs are downloaded onto your computer, open up Windows Media Player - use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs from your "My Music" folder to your Zen. (alternatively, you can change your Library --> Add to Library folders in Windows Media Player to include the "Frostwire Downloads" folder). Good luck - I could probably write an entire page elaborating on each sentence that I have given you here - but Fixya has word limits. :-) Let me know if you need extra help.

How down my mp3 200 series sana

Use Windows Media Player to transfer songs to this device. If the songs are already on your computer, then use the Sync tab to transfer songs to your Mp3 player. If you want to transfer songs from CD to this player, then use the Rip tab in Windows Media Player. If this is your first time using Windows Media Player, then you probabaly need WAY more help than we could possibly give you here. Go to www.microsoft.com and search "Windows Media Player" to get help files and instructions with pictures on how to use the software.

If you do not have any Mp3 files already, then sign up for one of the web's music services. Napster and Rhapsody are good, but the basic-level subscription will not allow you to transfer songs to an Mp3 player - you will need to get their premium (more expensive) subscription to be able to transfer songs. Limewire and Morpheus have free versions of their music service, but they are ad-filled and virus-prone.

If you encounter any sort of technical problem with the player I can help you, but read my "Tips and Tricks" on Sansa players first, as they solve as wide variety of problems.

No more space

Try to scan the anti virus, maybe there's some virus that can corrupt when you are adding some songs. If you check it and was not found yet, there's a possibility that your memory have a problem.

Music will not show up on player after download

two suggestions:
put player in msc mode by going to the settings menu and choosing USB mode, then change to MSC
then plug in and open the player in My Computer menu
if you do not see songs on the player, back out and format player at the drive letter prompt, then add songs either manually, drag and drop to the player (not the music folder!)
or sync the songs with windows media player 10 or 11
