Does the picture frame have an internal memory or accepts a memory card?

if memory card is accepted then try uploading images to the memory card and then inserting the memory card into the picture frame.

i hope this was helpful.

Pc connection established remote is temporarily inoperative

this is not a problem!;this always appears when you connect the USB cable to the PC and the frame. What you do next is ignore the frame and concentrate on the pc: go to the file where you have your pics stored, RIGHT click on the folder or pics you want to load and hit SEND TO ,in this case send to the Pandigital drive connection .Play with this with a couple of photos, check your frame to make sure they loaded and if ok then load all you want!

Why is remote temporaily inoperative

Because it is connected to your computer.

Don't panic; this is normal. Use the computer to copy the pictures.

Cannot load pictures onto SmartParts Digital frame

You can't see pictures on the frame while it's connected to the computer. The frame is supposed to say, "PC Connection established..." If you go to My computer and look for your frame as a removable device, you can open it and view the internal memory of the frame. You can see all the pictures on the frame and delete them if you wish.

Hooked to computer says buttons temporarily inoperative

The frame is supposed to say that. It just means you have given up control of your frame to your computer. When you disconnect the frame from the computer, you can use the remote control again.

Unable to download pictures from computer to digital frame

The primary software is going to extract all the images, put only the images you want on the card, then insert into your picture photo frame.

''remote is temporarily inoperative''

Sounds like you have it plugged into the computer via the mini usb connection. When plugged in this way, it functions like a thumb drive... a quick way to load pictures to the frame from the computer. Try unplugging the USB cable...

Omnitech 8.5 Digital Photo frame...no Instructions

I had this same problem and after playing with it for several hours, I discoverd the software that came with the frame was copying my photos to the "D" drive. Since my frame was connected to my computer through the "g" USB, of course the photos were never copied. So I went the the Smartparts software (that came with the frame) and found the folder which was saved on the "d' drive. I then did a simple "copy to" "g" drive (this is where my frame was connected to. If these instructions are clear, ask again and I will try to further help you. Good Luck!

Copy photos from pc

Look for an option when you open photo manager that says upload picture. Browse the locations then choose my computer, pictuers and click open the picture that you want in photo manager. Other wise, try to put/copy the picture in a new folder in you computer, then click cut and paste to photo manager.
