Question about Goldstar Air Conditioners
Seems i have the problem resolved by doing the following:
increasing the thermostat setting from 25* C to 29*C, this will reduce the load on the cooling condenser,
ensuring that the vent is set for 'fresh' as opposed to 'recirculating' room air.
installing a shade over the unit outside to shield it from direct sunlight, as well as provide a partial windblock as the wind typically blows strongly and directly at the a/c unit possibly pushing any condensed water toward the squirrel cage fan.
in any case, the unit is cooling our kitchen and i am once again a happy puppy!!!
