Question about Acer Aspire 1640Z Notebook
I am trying to install a new keyboard on my Acer Aspire but I don't know how to remove the old one.
Undo the three screws on the screen hinges.
The plastic plate with the power button and battery light can then be removed by opening the screen flat.
Remove the 2 grub screws and unclip.
The keyboard comes out but other than removing dust it is not servicable.
I just done it following a small liquid spill and some keys not working!!
Hope this is clear.
