My dehumidifer runs but no water is being pulled out

Might be a dirty coil and condenser.
I have had a AD75UST0 WHIRLPOOL Dehumidifier for several years. If it actually still runs, I would suggest you take off covers and give the coils a good thorough cleaning. Otherwise the units are not designed to be serviceable aka - "disposable small appliance". if you do dispose of it take it to a qualified recycle organization for Freon products. Shut unit off. Remove "bucket". You should find a "tab" at top of where bucket goes in middle front of unit. Pull down to remove tab of Filter. Clean thoroughly and dry Filter before re installation. Visually inspect the coils and condenser while filter is out ( a flashlight helps). If it looks slightly dusty or like covered in felt, then it would be wise to remove front and rear covers and give the coils and condenser a thorough cleaning.

Where is the filter located???

Remove the water bucket and you will see the filter behind where the water bucket was located. It's a foam mesh type filter. Using your fingers, reach under the bottom of the filter frame and gently pull to remove it. Wash the filter with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry well before reinstalling it.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know.

Ice forming on top of unit between the front panel and unit.

The filter is clogged on the unit. Unplug the unit and let it defrost. You may want to put some towels or old newspaper under it to absorb any possible drippings. Once the unit has completely thawed, remove the filter and clean it. If it's an aluminum mesh filter, you can back flush it and then wash it with soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and let dry completely or use a blow drier to speed up the drying process.

Hope this solves your problem.

Whirlpool gold dehumidifier, fan is running, but not collecting water. It's in a bathroom, and the temp doesn't get below 60. filter was very dirty and the inside as well, from not cleaning the filter....

There are many reasons why a dehumidifier will not work or collect water.

Here is a tip that I wrote to help people to figure out what is going wrong with their dehumidifier

My whirlpool dehumidifier fan runs, but no water is being taken out of the air; cleaned the filter and still no change; dehumidifier was purchased in August 2008.

First, make sure the humidistat isn't set too high by adjusting it to the lowest humidity setting and running it again. Next, test the dehumidifier by placing it in a closed bathroom with a hot shower running. If you don't see water collecting in the unit after several minutes, turn the unit off and clean all dehumidifier filters and coils. If, after adjusting the settings and cleaning the unit, you still don't see water collecting, you may have a refrigeration issue. This situation will have to be addressed by a qualified technician.

Take care.

If the filter is dirty it can block air flow. Try washing it if it's removable.
