Re: secure my router.
You need to log into the wireless router either by a computer that successfully connects wirelessly or by physically connecting with an ethernet cable. Once connected, log into the router by open a web browser (Internet Explorer, MozillaFirefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari), and typing the router's address (usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1) into the Address (or URL) line. The default usernameand password is usually "admin" & "admin" or "admin" & "password". Once successfully logged in, look for a tab or link that says "Wireless" or "Security". You'll be able to change whether security is enabled or disabled, and the password associated with it. Your security options are WEP or WPA (or WPA-PSK). WPA-PSK is the most secure, but WEP is also an acceptable choice. Select the security option of your choice and either enter text into the passphrase generator or choose your own password and type it into one of the security key text fields. If you use a password that is not a plain english combination of letters and numbers, be sure to write it down so that you can enter it as needed on other wireless devices that need to access your router (ie-pda phones, game consoles, laptops, desktops, etc). Be sure to save changes so that the security settings and password is saved. Let me know how you make out.

As you have not specified in particular what is the unlock code required for you, i am giving the ways to unlock all the codes
NETWORK UNLOCK CODE:
You can unlock it by flashing your mobile if your mobile is a CDMA mobile... The procedure for flashing your mobile is in the link below http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Flash-your-cell-phone It has an video explanation.
If your mobile is not an CDMA mobile , you can get the network unlock code(NUC) by just contacting the current network provider customer care department. It is free of cost.
The restriction code can be got from your old service provider..This restriction code is kept to prevent someone who stole the mobile from using it with another provider...
They will have a security check done with your date of birth etc..to verify whether you are the exact owner of the phone..
After that they will provide you the restriction code to unlock it and use it with another service provider..
Do not pay anyone for this seeing some advertisement over internet . That is all fake ads.
The above procedure works and you can verify that by seeing the rating of an happy customer here.. http://www.fixya.com/support/t4979448-need_unlock_motorola_razor_v3_from_optus
PUK code can be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and every mobile number. Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk no. If you cant contact through your phone get some other phone and contact them. Go to the nearest service outlet of your service provider they can also help you. There is no other go than the above procedure only your service provider can give it nobody else in this world nor any software... Go to the below link and you can confirm that the above procedure works and there is a testimonial given by the customer too. http://www.fixya.com/support/t3079596-sking_puk_code
HI If you are asking for pin contact your service provider , he will give you a default pin .
If you try pin more than few predefined no of times your phone will ask PUK code which can also be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and every mobile number . Do not try PUK(new pin code) code many times or else your sim will be blocked and you will need a new sim.

If you are talking about the security lock code to enter into the phone then once it is lost nothing can be done except flashing the mobile . Because if anybody can give the security code created then who ever who steals your phone can get into it and get your valuable information.
So as safety precaution to avoid that they have designed it such that if you forget the security lock you have to reset the mobile memory by flashing the mobile at an authorized service center. So while flashing the mobile all the data in the mobile memory will be lost and you can again start using the mobile.
I understand this is a Uniden phone. To give exact instructions regarding this issue we would ideally need the model number as there may be some variation in the procedure between models.
I have provided a link to a manual which contains generic instructions for Uniden and this may suffice as most models use the same procedures (see pages 21 and 22). If the instructions do not tally with your phone please provide the exact model number and I will endeavour to find more precise instructions for you.
Download and view pages 21 and 22 of this manual
If you need further clarification please let me know and provide detail as requested. If the issue is resolved please do leave a vote for the solution.
hi, i believe you must have tampered with the security setting. before you can put a new pin code on the phone you must provide the old code to the phone. to do this you go to menu and go to setting on the phone. then, you will go to security setting then go change pin code, this is where you will be ask to enter the old code before putting the new code. i will advice to meet the person that was formerly using the phone before you started using it to give the pin code which he was using for the phone before you started using it. thanks for using fixya.
The procedure for unlocking your Cell phone is as follows: 1. Start your phone without your new SIM or any SIM card in it 2. Now hit *#06# on your cell phone. When you do it, your IMEI number, a unique global serial number for your cell phone shows up. Your IMEI number should be 15 digits. 3. Now, choose the model of your Cell phone. If you don’t know your cell phone model number, you can always find out by removing the cell/battery of your phone. The model number along with the IMEI of the phone should be present. 4. Now, select the country and the operator the phone is locked to. For example “USA- T-Mobile” 5. You can make use of these unlock codes: use this #pw+956882777515521+# or #pw+896381513510520+7#.Thanks

I haven't had any problems with my MJ, but that, I think, is because I
port forwarded MJ. That's what seems to be your problem. You need to
port forward your MJ into your firewall/router. If you don't think you
have a firewall and/or router, your a noob. All pc have a firewall, at
least. Windows has a firewall. If you get your internet connection is
from broadband then you most likely have a router with a firewall. Some
routers are buit into the broadband modem. Figure out what kind/name
your firewall, router, modem is, and go to www.portforward.com.
Click on the routers model number, then click on MagicJack. If you just
have a firewall, and no router, they have a page just for firewalls. If
your not sure what you have then click the "Start Here" link on their
